The idea for "Smol Squad" began as a spark of curiosity. I currently work in healthcare and often face long days, depending on how the workday goes. I generally leave for work before 6 a.m. due to a 40-minute commute. One particular day, after a long shift, I got home too late to say goodnight to my little guy. I didn’t see him until the next morning, and in that moment, I realized it had been 36 hours since I last saw my little love. This made me think of what I love to do most with him.

My little guy is currently 16 months old (14 months adjusted). My favorite days are those when I can take him on playdates during my days off. Creating memories with him and dressing him in cute, comfy, and stylish outfits is so much fun. I wanted to create a space where busy moms can easily find outfits for their little ones.

This inspiration led to the name "Smol Squad." "Smol" is an affectionate way to describe something or someone that is small in size or tiny. It's often used to describe animals like puppies, kittens, and bunnies. "Smol" is perfect to describe our adorable tiny humans. We offer cute, comfy, and easy outfit ideas for any adventure, playdate, or just for fun. It’s always more enjoyable when you can match with your besties or squad, too!
